Dah lama gak nulis2, ini lagi rada2 bete dengan masalah yg menjadi judul tulisan kali ini.

Stambum. Apakah itu?
Pengertian sekilas dari gw yg emang awam (dan terus terang gak peduli) dengan bisnis anjing ras murni adalah seperti proses sertifikasi dari anjing yg bersangkutan, yah model2 kaya punya akte kelahiran dan silsilah gitu kali ye. Gw pernah liat kohde gw punya herder (almarhum *sigh*), lucu juga tuh masa nama2 silsilah induknya kayak nama2 bangsawan Eropa gitu, hehehehe, jadi inget kalo kita2 awam ngasih nama gampang gitu, Bleki lah, Pleki lah, Luki, Mek.. ups, stop disini aja contohnya.

Kenapa dengan stambum?

Oke, gw suka anjing, seperti semua anak di keluarga gw. Mungkin karena dari kecil gw besar bersama anjing2 di rumah, not to mention yg gw paling sayang (dan sering gw kangenin sampe sekarang) itu Ricchie si anjing pom.

Ceritanya tadi gw lagi iseng2 liat2 forum jual beli mamalia, trus gw nemu satu thread yg ngejual anak anjing daschund tanpa sertifikat dengan harga 800rb. Kebetulan kan gw emang berencana buat melihara tipe daschund karena selaen lucu (pendek tapi panjang kasa sosis) ni ras juga terkenal sebagai penangkap tikus yg handal karena emang masih termasuk dalam tipe anjing yg digunakan untuk berburu di tempat asalnya (dan gw emang bermasalah dengan tikus di rumah ini). Plus lagi gw baca anjing tekkel ini termasuk anjing ras yg imunitasnya lumayan kuat alias gak seringkih dibanding misalnya model2 herder ato rottweiler. So, sejak lama emg gw memutuskan buat punya daschund (pdhl pengen pom juga buat jadi Ricchie kedua *sigh*).

Nah trus gw kan mencari2 info, apakah harga 800 ribu itu pantes untuk anak anjing tanpa surat yg udah umur sekitar 2 bulan (udah dikasi nama pula >.<). Info dari temen bilang harga yg ber-stambum itu udah pasti diatas sejuta, tapi ada juga yg bilang kalo non stambum gitu cuman sekitar 300rb-an, itu pun yg belum divaksin. (intermezzo, gw pernah baca tulisan orang yg bilang vaksin itu sebenernya overrated… tau deh gw bukan ahlinya).
Trus akhirnya gw cari di google iseng2, dan nemu diskusi satu site bernama anjingkita.com. Ternyata adanya cuman pertanyaan org yg mencari anjing ras tertentu tapi yg gak ada sertifikatnya.

NAH yg bikin malem gw lumayan panas, adalah tanggepan seseorang atas pertanyaan itu, yg tanpa babibu langsung nuduh kalo orang yg cari anjing tanpa sertifikat itu pasti buat maksud yg gak baek, sampe nuding maling segala. Dan hebatnya lagi ni org pas ada org laen yg nanggepin baek2, eh ni bangsat malah makin menjadi2.

Dia beralesan dulu dia jadi korban anjing tanpa sertifikat. Sampe2 dia menganalogikan beli mobil tanpa surat, dan kata2 pamungkas berbunyi kalo gak ada modal gak usah melihara.

….Monyet banget ni orang. Emang dia kira dia siapa?

Gw tau ni orang gak sepenuhnya salah, cuman cara dia ngomong dan prejudicenya sampe langsung nuding orang A B C ini yg bikin gw mules pengen mencret.

Dan sampailah di bagian gw mau beropini keyakinan gw.

Gw pelihara anjing adalah pertama2 gw suka anjing. Gw ngerasa hidup gw belum komplit tanpa kehadiran companion berbulu bernama anjing ini, hehehe. Dulu sih waktu masih numpang di rumah kohde ada 2 anjing retriever, nah skrg kan sepi cuman ada hamster yg hampir punah dimakan tikus. Gw sama sekali gak peduli apa anjing yg gw pelihara rasnya murni atao hasil gado2 sama gajah, yg penting ni anjing bertingkah seperti layaknya anjing sahabat majikannya.
Dan semua tetek bengek tentang pemurnian ras ini kadang bikin gw gerah. Sekarang kalo sampe jadi penipuan, siapa yg dari pertama bikin bisnis ras itu jadi duit. Berapa banyak sih sekarang orang beli anjing itu bener2 buat jadi companion, bukan cuma buat jadi pajangan atau malah jadi barang buat dipamerin karena liat nih, gw punya anjing BERSERTIFIKAT KETURUNAN JUARA. Oke, beberapa pemilik memang mungkin sekalian, sekalian disayang sekalian dijadiin lahan duit, tapi berapa persen pemilik lagi yg simply mau punya anjing yg dia inginkan cuma buat companion atau menjadi bagian dari keluarga.

Dan ini ada monyet yg ngoceh dan nuding2 orang karena DIA PIKIR anjing itu harus bersertifikat kalo gak pemiliknya berpartisipasi dengan rusaknya kemurnian ras anjing di Indonesia.
Kenapa gak sekalian dia usulin program buat ngebabat anjing2 di jalan karena tu anjing2 biasanya yg bertanggung jawab ngehamilin anjing rumahan yg kebetulan lagi lepas keluar mencari teman se-species?

Gw juga gak mau bilang itu cuma anjing, but truth is, emang itu cuma anjing. Satu2nya saat seekor anjing bisa lebih dari sekedar anjing ya saat dia udah menjadi companion seseorang, menjadi bagian keluarga seseorang, yg kalo misalnya sakit juga sekeluarga panik… Dan apa sertifikat dan kemurnian ras itu ada ngaruhnya dalam hal ini? Apa misalnya lu punya herder ternyata pernah masih ada turunan pudelnya trus lu langsung ilfil sama herder lu?

Toh breeding anjing ras in itself udah eksploitasi anjing demi keuntungan kantong manusianya, menurut gw. Gak sekalian breeding anjing buat diambil dagingnya buat manusia2 yg doyan menyantap daging anjing, daripada anjing2 rumahan tau2 ilang dikepruk orang buat dimasak, lumayan tuh belom ada yg ngelakuin kan?

Mendekati akhir omelan tengah malam ini, well, manusia emg paling bisa mengeksploitasi species laen atas nama kemurnian ras padahal tujuan akhirnya ngitung fulus. Kalo orang mau menjaga kemurnian keturunan suatu species peliharaan, silakan, tapi ya mbok ya gak usah overacting maen tuding maen hantem sampe ngatain goblok kalo ada orang laen yg simply bermaksud beda sama dia.

Dan akhirnya kayanya gw gak jadi ambil tu daschund… abis jauh sih di Bintaro, trus gw ngerasa agak belom siap buat deket2 ini… so moga2 ntar2 ada kesempatan lagi buat dapet daschund yg bisa jadi anjing gw tanpa kudu pusing bayar extra tetek bengek bernama STAMBUM.

     There have been controversies about adult content in gamings, mainly the violence. Back since Street Fighter, people (parents) have been blaming videogames to promote crimes that their childeren committed. The latest would be the American attourney Jack Thompson who’s waging "crusade" against violent games (and successfully make bunch of enemies from gaming people). And even latest is the controvery of Man Hunt 2, which is supposedly heading to PS2 and Nintendo Wii but rejected by both console.
     Just how bad gaming violence has gone anyway? Judging as more and more gore and violence populating console titles, aren’t you morally bothered?

     Violence is inevitably a part of our history, that’s a fact. Wars, street fightings, murders, bullyings, those are things that we just can’t avoid to happen everyday, since before videogames was even born. So why videogames?
     Majority of people still think that videogames are only for kids. Although nowadays more adults got into videogames, that thought isn’t all wrong; there are still more of the younger audience. And fact that many videogames player spend most of their times playing, even the most harmless RPG could turn a boy into less-social person too busy leveling up his characters than hanging out with his friends. That said, what a violent game could possibly do?

     But many games nowadays have violent contents. How do you differ the "right" one to the wrong?

     When we’re confronted with Street Fighters’ violence, well, it’s a fighting game. You can’t win a boxing match without hitting your opponent’s face. You can’t win a Taekwondo match without kicking your opponent body. And so, you can’t win a fighting game without laying damage to your opponent. It’s necessary violence. It’s explainable.
     But pulling your opponent’s head off after victory in Mortal Kombat, and actually gets bonus for that, that’s unnecessary violence. Why must you pull their head off?

     When we saw Snake killed his enemies, he had to kill them to survive. You even have to kill less to achieve better rank. Whenever Snake had to snap someone’s neck, it’s necessary violence. Some even have characters that you might feel sorry if you have to kill them.
     Compare to what we have in the series called Grand Theft Auto. You just have to run over harmless grannies just for the sake of it, and you have to beat the crap out of clueless joggers just because you feel like it. That’s highly unnecessary violence. The game is all about doing violence.

     Get the difference?

     I heard Man Hunt 2 is an even whole new level of violence. I never interested in such game, anyway, thus I never touched the first game. From what I read in blogs, what’s bothering about Man Hunt 2 that resulted in Sony and Nintendo rejecting it, is that players controls many sick ways to kill someone. Some even mention about using pliers to crack victim’s testicle, or sort ofs. It’s like, this game allows you to fulfill your darkest desire to torture and kill people. In short, ultimately unnecessary violence.

     Why unnecessary violence? Weren’t game fun enough without them?

     Still many gamers don’t like authorities to rule out what games are allowed in market. They even curse the companies for "giving up" to the anti-violence act, without regard that those companies are who allow them to have wonderful games until this day. Some adult act, eh, gamers?
     Some defend about personal self-control. I agree, people should be responsible for what they see and what they do. You can’t solely blame the student killing incident just because the criminal played too much Doom, and sort ofs. BUT. When it comes to mental problem, one can never defend him/herself. It comes to you without you knowing it, and in that vulnerable spot, what you constantly watch do have effects to your mental, whether you like it or not.
     Some complain violence is allowed its portion in commercial movies but not games. Movies like Saw, Hostel, etc, display even worse sadistic acts to a wider number of audience. There’s a bit different between watching it, and controlling it. I don’t agree about gore movies, btw. It’s no better than some cheap porn clips it shouldn’t even get its place on public cinema. But maybe it’s just sign of the age of mental sickness. People are against natural love-making scene or their natural genitals, yet agree about sadistic murder display. I have no word for that.

     As easy as some might say "don’t like it, don’t buy it", console companies do have reputation to keep. One developer gets its Adult Only game to go commercial, many cheap developers would have lined up with the same formula. More gore, more violence, more explicit sex. And no sane parents would allow console that have such games in their house. I say way to go to both Sony and Nintendo.

     Last words. Games can be good without having to promote unnecessary violence. If you find no other humor but hurting people can make you laugh, please take this good-willed advice and have your mental health consulted.
